History: The first peak of FC Barcelona's dominance began in 2004 with the arrival of Ronaldinho. Under Frank Rijkaard, the club transformed from the turmoil of the late-90s to the beginning of 2000s with a back to back La Liga titles (2004 - 2006) with a Champions League win in 05/06, only the Catalan club's second UCL victory in history at that point. Ronaldinho won his only Ballon d'Or in 2005 & FIFA World Player of the Year twice in 2004 & 2005 while a Barcelona player.
