History: Jurong FC was a Singaporean football club founded in 1975 as Jurong Town FC before rebranding in 1994. Nicknamed the Cobras, the club became a founding member of the S.League in 1996 and gained a reputation for developing local players while attracting talented foreign imports. Their most successful season came in 2001, when they finished third in the league. Financial challenges and changing football structures eventually led to the club's withdrawal from the S.League, and Jurong FC was dissolved following the 2003 season.
