Worn during the 2004/05 season which Juventus won the Serie A title but was subsequently stripped of due to the prominent role the club played in the Calciopoli scandal with their sporting director Luciano Moggi being banned from football for life. With Juve's relegation to Serie B plus points deduction in 2006 confirmed, many of their star players left the club on cheap barring a few senior players, with Czech player Pavel Nedved showing his loyalty to the fallen Italian giants by staying on to play a role in their sole season outside the Italian top flight and stayed on until his retirement in 2009. His next role in football helped facilitated Juventus second dominant decade as he was appointed director at the club dealing with the transfers.
