History: Coming through the Valencia's youth system that produced academy players who would figure prominently in Valencia's senior team or go on to play a role in Spain's dynasty in 2008 to 2012, David Silva came through the youth ranks with the likes of Raul Albiol, Pablo Hernandez and part of the team that won the Copa del Rey in 2007/08.
