The 2010/11 season saw Manchester United finally broke rivals, Liverpool's claim as the top dogs of English football as Fergie fulfilled his own prophecy to knock the Merseyside reds off their perch as the most times winners (19) of the Premier League. After coming close the previous season, only losing by a single point to Chelsea. That season had a rare sharing of the Golden Boot award with Dimitar Berbatov & Carlos Tevez scoring 20 times in the league. United also reached that season's UEFA Champions League final.
