History: The 2017/18 third kit was Manchester United & Adidas' special collaboration with the supporters in creating a special design for the upcoming season. The winning design showcased the statue of the Trinity outside Old Trafford on a white/greyish background. The shirt is a nod towards the three key players who helped win the club's first European Cup under Sir Matt Busby. The 2017/18 saw the club finished a distant second behind their city rivals and also Zlatan Ibrahimovic's second and last season at the club after a long spell out with an ACL suffered from the previous season. His shirt number was changed to number 10 after the arrival of Romelu Lukaku, taking over from the departure of Wayne Rooney in the same summer.
