Worn during United's 2018/19 season, the club went through a managerial change after Jose Mourinho's tenure descended into internal turmoil with an unsettled squad and a unhappy manager fighting with the club's hierarchy. A much needed change albeit in interim manager with returning club legend, Ole Gunnar Solskjær at helm saw the club bounced back with decent results and that memorable Champions League RO16 second leg comeback against heavy favourites PSG. Club academy graduate, Jesse Lingard made 36 appearances in all competitions that season, but saw his contribution tailed off from the previous campaign with only 4 league goals and 2 assists.
