History: Sembawang Rangers FC was a Singapore football club formed in 1996 through the merger of Gibraltar Crescent FC and Sembawang SC to compete in the inaugural S.League season. Based at Yishun Stadium, the club was known as the “Stallions” and featured a mix of local players and foreign imports. Sembawang Rangers struggled competitively throughout their existence, often finishing in the lower half of the table. Financial difficulties and poor results led to their withdrawal from the S.League after the 2003 season, after which the club was dissolved. Despite this, it remains part of Singapore football's early professional era history.
