Worn in Napoli's 2009/10 Serie A campaign, this was Macron's first season as the club's technical sponsor. Napoli built on their previous two seasons in the mid-table by finishing 6th under Walter Mazzarri with a squad that was beginning to build their reputation as a dark horse in the Scudetto contention. With the forward pairing of Ezequiel Lavezzi & Fabio Quagliarella, midfield dynamo Marek Hamsik, lead by captain and youth product Paolo Cannavaro who would win the Coppa Italia two seasons later.
